For the most demanding commercial applications, we’ve developed Super Spacer TriSeal.

Its incredible strength makes longevity issues a thing of the past, while its flexible design allows it to move with the glass itself when subjected to strong winds or changing pressures.

TriSeal has excelled in some of the most stringent testing global construction has to offer.

At Fiva Glass in Norway, for example, the product was used to create a huge glass unit weighing nearly 312kg. Then, the unit was held aloft in an extreme shear test for 15 minutes, relying solely on TriSeal’s pre-applied PIB sealant to keep it together – and once the test was finished, the two panes hadn’t moved at all.

What is the purpose of spacer bar?

The purpose of a spacer bar in a window is to create a gap between the panes of glass in double or triple glazing systems. This gap is essential for the insulation properties of the window. Spacer bars help to seal and maintain the space between the panes, preventing the movement of air and moisture. This contributes to reducing heat transfer and condensation, enhancing the thermal efficiency and overall performance of the window.

Silicone spacers for Mexico City’s Capital Reforma buildings

The Capital Reforma buildings are two steel framed skyscrapers located in the heart of Mexico City. Construction of the two 25 storey towers began in 2007 and was completed in 2014.
