At Edgetech, like all the Quanex family, we see ourselves as part of something bigger. That means we’re not just focused on what’s good for our business, but what’s good for the wider community too.

In recent months, that’s something we’ve demonstrated by supporting two causes that are close to our hearts – Coventry Food Bank and Nathaniel Newton Infant School in Nuneaton.

We were pleased to donate £300 to Coventry Food Bank as part of our monthly Safety Observation Lottery.

Employees who report unsafe situations or identify possible causes of accidents are entered into the lottery, with some winning prizes.

However, worthy local causes are also entered, and in February the Food Bank was named a winner.

At the end of last year, we also donated stationery to Nathaniel Newton Infant School in Nuneaton.

As well as contributing ourselves, we received a generous donation from our supplier Bostik too, meaning we were able to give the school a vast amount of supplies.

It was a pleasure to present the stationery to the head teacher, Mrs Forshew, and two lovely pupils!
