Edgetech will put collaboration into action at Glasstec 2026, showcasing how partnerships across the glass industry are helping manufacturers meet the demands of performance, sustainability and increasingly automated production.

Taking place at Messe Düsseldorf from October 20–23, the world’s leading trade fair for the glass industry will see Edgetech, a Quanex company, demonstrate its Super Spacer® technology across a range of applications, alongside examples of how the company is working with customers and industry partners to provide practical solutions for the changing needs of the market.

“Glasstec gives us a great opportunity to meet customers and partners from across Europe, but more importantly, to show what we can achieve by working together,” said Mike Moran, VP, Sales Seals and Spacers Europe.

“This year, we want to bring that collaboration to life. Rather than simply talking about products, we’ll be showing how our spacer technology, technical expertise and customer partnerships are being used in real applications to help address some of the challenges facing our industry.”

Visitors will be able to see Edgetech’s Super Spacer® range in action across different glass unit sizes and shapes, including thin triples and a curved glass display, together with solutions designed to support automated production, plus some landmark projects from around the world where Super Spacer has been trusted in some of the world’s most prestigious buildings.

Sustainability will also be a key focus. Edgetech Europe’s T-Spacer and premium Super Spacer® product range have achieved Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), providing independently verified information on environmental impact and giving customers and specifiers greater transparency when assessing the sustainability credentials of glazing solutions.

“Sustainability and automation are no longer conversations about what might happen in the future – they are influencing decisions being made by our customers today,” added Mike.

“What customers need is a partner that understands the pressures they are facing and can work with them to find the right solution. Glasstec is a fantastic opportunity for us to demonstrate what that partnership looks like in practice.”
